HEALTH AND SANITATION

Any volunteers with certificates or proof as a medical student, nurse, doctor or certificates of experience can join health programs. Volunteers without professional knowledge are not allowed to work in this program. Volunteers should help local doctors, medical staffs for the treatment. Volunteers can also join other activities such as first aid, working in hospital like record keeping, nutrition, treatment of minor injuries and sanitation. Placement in health sector is rare in local health centers and hospitals as they are concerned with the skill and qualification of the volunteers.

Volunteers can stay in a host and work in health post or hospitals are available. Working hour in hospitals is 2-6 hours a day for 6 days a week. You can take day off in cooperation with the In-charge of the hospital or the health post. Volunteers can also be involved in MEDICAL- CAMPING as per the hospital program.
