ENVIRONMENT AND ECO-WORK

FORDNEPAL keenly focus the environmental activities on community land, public places and eroded areas. It has many community partners in various districts of Nepal where volunteers witness the natural beauty as well as conserve the natural and community forest through a forestation, soil conservation, diversion preparation, transplantation, plant nursery growing and involving many environmental training and eco-works.

Recently, FORDNEPAL has a MODEL ECO-VILLAGE PROJECT in Rampur, Chitwan, Nepal. During your volunteering, you will mostly participate in conservation activities by working in Community forests and its nurseries. In some occasion, volunteers will help in seed collection, weeding, fencing, mulching, carrying lumbers and plan nursery management activities. Most of the time, volunteers work with local participants or villagers.
