COMMUNITY BASKET FUND

The Himalayan kingdom, Nepal has nearly 20% lower caste, about 5% Indigenous and about 15% Janajati population. Though, the country is in political conflicts, which influence those communities going backward. On the other hand, those groups are originally devoid of education. To promote those children from countryside and from those communities, the basket fund is supportive for their studies. FORDNEPAL provides scholarship for those children who are seeking for school or higher studies. Besides these, the fund is also used for the other development of the community, teaching materials for the schools, clothes and other materials for the orphans, providing health materials to health posts and hospitals where volunteers work. The fund is collected by the volunteers’ revenue and the donation made by interested partners and donors. We open the door for every individual or agency for this golden help for students and community development activities.
